Volunteer opportunities within the Auxiliary include:

• Community blood drives, held several times a year at YVMC.
• Cookie Cart program, provides warm cookies and beverages to patients and visitors at YVMC.
• Day Surgery Support, provides valuable assistance to the nursing staff.
• Help At Hand, a communications and comfort service for ski season patients and families, works with Emergency admissions and nursing staff.
• Kiddie Kuddlers, provides an extra set of hands for teachers and open arms for infants at GrandKids Child Care Center.
• The annual Community Health Fair, sponsored by YVMC every October.
• Patient Advocate Volunteer, visits patients at YVMC to provide education and answer questions about playing a more active role in their healthcare.
