| The Diagnostic Imaging Department provides services to inpatients and outpatients with exam orders by Licensed Independent Practitioners (LIP). The exam order will include the name of the patient, date of birth, name of the exam being requested and diagnosis and symptoms necessitating the service. The exam order will also require the signature of the ordering LIP. Out-of-state physicians must provide their medical license number.
Services provided
The organization and management of the Diagnostic Imaging Department promote quality patient care. All imaging studies are interpreted by a board-certified radiologist, provides clinical direction.
All radiologic technologists are registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers, or the Society of Nuclear Medicine Technologists. In addition, technologists performing mammography and CT are registered in their area of expertise. The physicians, technologists and support staff work collaboratively to assure that high-quality care is provided to all patients.
Hours of operation
Scheduled appointments are available from 7 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Monday- Friday. Evening and weekend appointments are available for some services. To make an appointment, please call 970-871-2399 between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday- Friday.
