Dr. Harrington is currently Medical Director of the Doak Walker Care Center.
Army Medical Corps and Instructor
Dr. Harrington has served in as a medical officer in the military, as well as in civilian physician, medical education and public health roles since 1991. His military experience includes Active Duty Officer in the United States Army Medical Corps; Assistant Program Director for the Darnall Family Practice Residency, Fort Hood Texas; Program Chair for the 2000 Uniformed Services Academy of Family Physicians Annual Scientific Assembly in San Diego, California; Faculty Development Fellow, Madigan Army Medical Center; Teaching Staff, Madigan Army Medical Center Family Practice Residency; and Troop Medical Clinic Officer in Charge, Camp Casey, Republic of Korea.
Additional Teaching Experience
He also has taught at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center; Southern Colorado Family Medicine; Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, Bethesda, Maryland; and the Department of Family Medicine, School of Medicine, University of Washington.
Board Service and Public Health
Currently, Dr. Harrington serves on the Board of Directors, COPIC Malpractice Insurance Company. Dr. Harrington takes an active role in the community, serving as the Routt County Public Health Officer.
