Financial Assistance Programs

En Español

Yampa Valley Medical Center is committed to providing outstanding healthcare to those we serve through safe, personalized, quality care regardless of an individual's ability to pay.  YVMC offers financial assistance through the Colorado Indigent Care Program and YVMC's own Financial Assistance Program.

You may qualify for financial assistance with or without health insurance. In the event that you do not qualify for one of our programs, YVMC can help you with your medical bills by setting up a payment plan.

Self Pay
Yampa Valley Medical Center will provide care without discrimination for emergency medical conditions regardless of a patient’s ability to pay. For all other services, self-pay patients are expected to pay in full prior to receiving service. When possible, we will estimate the required payment when you schedule your service. YVMC offers a 10% self pay discount and another 10% discount for payment at the time of service.

We have Financial Counselors who can help determine if you qualify for financial assistance and explain our prompt pay discounts.  Please call a Financial Counselor at 1-970-870-1137 (Last names A-L) or 1-970-871-2487 (Last names M-Z) with questions.

Payment Plans
If you do not qualify for financial assistance we will work with you to set up a payment plan for the self pay portion of your bill. Payment plans that are 10 months or less are interest free. Plans that are 11-36 months are at 8%  interest. Please call our billing office at 1-970-870-0111 or 1-877-304-1299.
