Self Pay

Yampa Valley Medical Center will provide care without discrimination for emergency medical conditions regardless of a patient’s ability to pay. For all other services, self-pay patients are expected to pay in full prior to receiving service. When possible, we will estimate the required payment when you schedule your service. YVMC offers a 10% self pay discount and another 10% discount for payment at the time of service.

We have Financial Counselors who can help determine if you qualify for financial assistance and explain our prompt pay discounts.

Please call a Financial Counselor at 1-970-870-1137 (Last names A-L) or 1-970-871-2487 (Last names M-Z) with questions.

Payment Plans

If you do not qualify for financial assistance we will work with you to set up a payment plan for the self pay portion of your bill. Payment plans that are 10 months or less are interest free. Plans that are 11-36 months are at 8% interest.

Please call our billing office at 1-970-870-0111 or 1-877-304-1299.
