About Dr. Sarin
Dr. Greg Sarin is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon with the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. In addition to general orthopaedic services, Dr. Sarin specializes in knee injuries as well as trauma, sports medicine and total joint replacement.
Dr.Sarin has been working with patients in the Steamboat Springs community since in August, 2003 when he joined Steamboat Orthopaedics Associates. In 2012, Dr. Sarin fulfilled his vision of opening his own practice, Storm Mountain Orthopaedics, dedicated to providing exceptional care for a broad range of sports related injuries and other orthopaedic conditions.
Since 2003, he has served as Team Physician for the US Ski Team and the Jumping/Nordic Combined Junior Olympics, Steamboat Springs, as well as for Steamboat Springs High School Football. He also has been a Team Physician for the Steamboat Springs Pro Rodeo.
After completing his undergraduate degree in biology at Regis University, Denver, Colorado, Dr. Sarin then received his medical training at University of Health Sciences in Kansas City, Missouri. He completed his Internship at Michigan State University, and his Residency at the Memorial Hospital, York, Pennsylvania. While completing his Sports Medicine Fellowship at Kentucky Sports Medicine, Lexington, Kentucky, Dr. Sarin served as Team Physician for Division I - NCAA football and basketball teams.
Service to the Community
Dr. Sarin serves on the Routt County Search and Rescue team. In his free time, Dr Sarin is an avid runner, rock climber, and skier. He also volunteers with Mountain Pet Rescue by fostering dogs and helps them find new homes by posting dog portraits on the Storm Mountain Orthopaedics website.
