The Opportunity
UCHealth has an exceptional opportunity for the position of President, Yampa Valley Medical Center (YVMC) located in the beautiful community of Steamboat Springs, Colorado.  After more than 20 years, the current President is retiring.  This position provides many opportunities for long-term success. 
The President, UCHealth Yampa Valley Medical Center (YVMC), has overall accountability for producing desired results associated with service excellence, quality clinical outcomes, market share maintenance/expansion, exceptional operational results and financial integrity. The President is highly visible in the community, at the facility, region and system levels, and is responsible for the development and management of growth plans, efficient utilization of resources, continued adoption of innovation, and program development. This position is responsible for developing and fostering positive relationships with all constituents including medical staff, employees, volunteers, external agencies, and the community. This leadership position is also responsible for the development of short and long-term plans for carrying out the goals and objectives of the health system. This position serves as the principal link between hospital activities, UCHealth, the community, the local Board, and medical staff.
