Data Specialist- Clinical Quality

Collects, analyzes, abstracts, and reports on clinical data using information technologies to support clinical processes and departmental/organizational initiatives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Designs data queries based on customer inquiries/needs. Extracts, validates, and analyzes desired data.
2. Defines the scope and format of reports and prepares same.
3. Collaborates on the design, implementation and evaluation of clinical data analysis processes, including determining the metrics and methodologies to be used.
4. Presents analysis in requested formats to internal/external audiences as required.
Minimum Required Education: Minimum of Associate's degree in related field.
Required Experience: None.
Licenses and Certifications: None Required.
Skills and Abilities: Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
